Lori — Business Manager

Lori joined our team in July of 1987.  She was my chair-side assistant for 7 years when she had her son, Nicholas, after which she left until Nick was in kindergarten. She rejoined our team in August of 1998.  Since that time, she has worked in my front office as my Business Manager and has exhibited enormous proficiency in this position.  Lori takes great pride in her work and is instrumental in assisting patients with their financial as well as clinical and scheduling needs.  Her expertise in dealing with insurance issues and policies is greatly appreciated by all who have required such assistance.  She is a Certified Medical Transcriptionist and has an Associate Degree in Applied Arts and Science which has helped to give her the background needed for her position. Lori is also certified in radiography, and because of her 12 years of assisting experience, she is able to provide support in our clinical area when necessary.  Lori enjoys golf, reading, walking, and loves traveling. I consider Lori to be an essential part of our team.

Marta — Scheduling Coordinator

Marta joined our team in June of 2001 as my Scheduling Coordinator.  Marta has past experience in chair-side assisting which is invaluable for the Scheduling Coordinator, as it enables her to schedule all of our different procedures in an efficient, professional manner.    She is knowledgeable in working with insurance benefits for our patients and has proven to be an immense advocate to all who require information regarding their coverage.  Marta’s skill in scheduling helps our day flow smoothly, which is as important for our patients as it is for our staff.  Scheduling is not an exact science as each day can be fraught with changes and, additions which present a unique challenge which Marta meets with enthusiasm and perseverance.  In her free time she enjoys golf, tennis, roller-blading, skiing and reading.  We are very proud to have her on our team.

Beth — Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Beth joined our team in September of 1991, and has been my chair-side assistant since July of 1994.  She is instrumental in the care of our patients and is extremely conscientious regarding all aspects of our clinical area.  Beth is a Registered Dental Assistant and is capable of performing expanded assisting duties allowing her to act with autonomy, which helps tremendously in the flow of each day.  Her superior skill level, attentiveness, great sense of humor, and kind consideration make her an integral member of our team. She enjoys tennis, bowling and physical fitness.   She and her husband have two sons, and 5 grandchildren.

Eve — Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Eve is the longest standing member of our team, starting in the summer of 1980.  She was the first employee hired after beginning my practice here in 1980.  Eve graduated from Lansing Community College with her Registered Dental Hygiene degree, and she is an active member of the Central District Dental Hygiene Society.  Her dedication to the profession and community is demonstrated by her long-term involvement in the Children’s Dental Health Month activities, for which she served 6 years as chair / coordinator. In her local component society she has served 1 year as vice-president, and 2 years as president and 4 years on the Michigan Dental Hygiene Association Board of Trustees.  She was honored as Hygienist of the Year in 2004.  Her enthusiasm for her profession is confirmed through her volunteer work involving schools and nursing homes. In her free time she enjoys golfing, boating, and downhill skiing.

Mary — Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Originally from Cadillac, Michigan, Mary joined our staff in 1992. She graduated from Ferris State University with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She was inducted into the Honor Society in Dental Hygiene as well as earning the highest score in her class on the Board examination.

She works part time in our office, and has practiced Dental Hygiene for 25 years, six of which were in a general practice in Phoenix, Arizona, before returning here to practice. She and her husband Rick have two grown children.  She enjoys reading, skiing, outdoor sports, travel, knitting and spending time with her children.

Margeaux—Dental Assistant

As the newest member of our team, Margeaux is by no means a novice in the profession. She began her dental assisting career in her senior year of high school in a part time capacity. After graduation she obtained her associates degree in applied science from Briarwood College in Southington, CT. Following that she worked as a chair-side dental assistant in a family practice for 7 years. During that time she also became an EMT, volunteering for a local Ambulance Service and joined the United States Navy Reserve as a corpsman. Moving to Philadelphia in 2006 she spent a year working in an endodontic practice. In 2007, Brian, her husband was accepted into the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, which is what brought her Lansing.  She and Brian have recently celebrated the birth of their son, Johnathan.  During her free time she loves the outdoors, enjoying downhill skiing, swimming, and running. We feel very fortunate to have an individual as qualified as Margeaux to complete our team.
